The project is an 84-room villa hotel on Silver Sands beach on the South Coast of
Barbados. The complex is situated on approx. 2 acres of land with five residential blocks
and when finished will include a restaurant, café, two swimming pools, spa, fitness suite
and shop. Formerly the Silver Rock Hotel, the property is in the process of being
extensively renovated and refurbished to ultimately produce an upmarket four star
boutique villa hotel. Most of the renovations have been to the existing buildings although
Block E (see site map in Appendix) on the site of the old reception will involve
constructing six one-bedroom units.
The Silver Point complex stretches from the beach across a private road to Block
D and some general offices. The prime units are beachfront in Block A commanding
magnificent sea views. Built ten feet above the water level Block A is on three levels.
The beach at Silver Sands is the most popular windsurfing and kitesurfinglocation in Barbados and rated amongst the top ten in the world. It is an important attribute to Silver Point Villa Hotel.
